March 22nd, at this time we can not guarantee shirts; if extra shirts are available they will be offered after the event. 

Join us for the 2nd Annual Cross Creek Ranch Dusk to Dawn Half Marathon on Saturday, March 25, 2017. We will start at dusk from the Welcome Center and watch the sun go down as we head into the first two miles and finish under the moon. Grab your friends and family and join us for this great event. Each runner will get a long sleeve shirt, great medal, and much more. Half Marathon Finishers will receive a long sleeve pull over at the finish line. All runners will enjoy great food, several hydration options, a great band to listen to, and much more.

Next year your pacers will be easier to find and follow. It is not required to follow them, but they will be their for your assistance. Everyone will have three hours and 30 minutes to complete the entire 13.1 run. The route is one complete loop in the neighborhood and will have more lighting on the new streets. Rest stops will start at mile market 2 and and will be at every mile and 1/2 after. Starting next year at mile marker 3 1/2 each station will have water, Gatorade, Gu’s, and more rest rooms on the route for your convenience. The half marathon and 5k will be a timed event and both will receive age group awards.

  • $60 for individuals Now until Aug. 31, 2016
  • $75 for individuals Sep. until Dec. 31, 2016
  • $84 for individuals Jan. 1, 2017 until PPU
  • If not full $95 at Packet Pick Up

5k Distance :

  • $25 for individuals Now until Aug. 31, 2016
  • $30 for individuals Sep. 1, 2016 until Dec 31, 2016
  • $35 for individual Jan. 1, 2017 until PPU

1k Distance:

  • $12 for individuals Now until Aug. 31, 2016
  • $18 for individuals Sep. 1, 2016 until Dec. 31, 2016
  • $20 for individuals Jan. 1, 2017 until PPU
  • If not full $35 at Packet Pick Up

 

Water Stations:

Water and Gatorade will be on the run course every mile and half starting at mile 2.  The first tables at each stop will be Gatorade and the next table will be water. Pick your drink and keep running; if you prefer to stop and walk while drinking your drink, please move to the side so other runners can get their drinks as well and run on.  For your safety, take fluids only at the official stations and often to avoid dehydration. Water, Gatorade, and other hydration products will be available at the finish line party.

Run teams, schools, and large work groups can arrange for special packet pick ups.There will be event day packet pick-up until 4:30pm; after that we will start getting everything ready. There are no refunds, but you may transfer if notified 72 hours prior to  packet pick up begins. The transfer can only be because of an injury or work/family related issue.  This event will take place rain or shine. Courses and/or race segments may be altered based on safety first; if this occurs refunds will not be issued.

Course Aid Stations will be available at mile 2, 3 1/2, 5 , 6 1/2, 8 1/2, 9, and 11; the aid stations will be marked. Port-a-Cans are located at mile 3, 6 and 10. Aid stations starting at mile 3 1/2 will have water, Gatorade, and GU’s.

Prohibited Items on the Marathon Course:
There are a number of items not allowed on this course; runners without a bib, bicycles (unless with the race company), animals, roller skaters, and roller blades.

Timing:

This is a chip timed even. Chips are given out at packet pick up and will be located on the back of your bib. Occasionally a time missed due to a misread or improper chip placement.  We apologize now if this happens.

Awards:

Half Marathon and 5k will be awarded overall top male and female, overall top master’s male and female will receive awards. Top 3 in age groups and relay teams in the half marathon division will receive awards. (Age groups are 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-Plus.
